Jesus Christ Superstar Auditions

AMTC are pleased to present Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ever popular “Jesus Christ Superstar“.  As such, the AMTC Committee and JCS Production team would like to invite any and all interested people to audition to be part of this exciting production.

If you missed the Information Night, or require further information (eg the required vocal range of each role), the presentation used for the Information Night can be downloaded here.

Once completed, you will be allocated a preferred audition time, and will receive either an email or SMS message to confirm your time.  It will be great if you can acknowledge this message so we know to expect you at the auditions.  It may take up to 48 hours to receive your audition time. 

The audition application form will be closed at 5pm on Friday 7th May.

Popular Musical Set To Return

The ever-popular musical, “Jesus Christ Superstar “, is coming back to the stage in  Nowra . Albatross Musical Theatre Company is reprising the show, originally performed  at the  Nowra School of Arts in 2001. The show was a great success and popular with audiences and the cast alike.

AMTC is sure the show will be bigger and better in 2021, having moved to the Shoalhaven  Entertainment  Centre where better sound and facilities are available….and a slightly bigger band. The show will play in November for six performances.

Anyone interested in being a part of this production is invited to attend an Information Night at Nowra School of Arts Annexe on Wednesday 21st April at 7.00pm.

Areas of participation include both on-stage and off-stage areas of production. Come along and find out how/when you can audition for a role in this marvellous show (lead or ensemble)  or how to get involved in the many areas of production ( band, stage crew, costuming , makeup, sound , lighting , set construction etc ).

AGM Notice

Notice is hereby given of the 46th A.G.M. of the Albatross Musical Theatre Company to be held in the Nowra School of Arts Annexe, Berry Street Nowra, on Thursday 18th February 2021, at 7:30pm.  Members are welcome to attend.  Membership fees will be collected.
