AMTC is entirely run by volunteers.
Our one major source of income is tickets sales.
We are generally able to cover the cost of each production in this manner, but can have difficult meeting ongoing overheads to keep the company running (such as insurce, rent, restocking building supplies).
We also endeavour to update our theatre tech, such as our microphones system, to ensure we have the best available technology for our audiences.
AMTC also maintains a a workshop for setbuilding, providing suitable and safe tools and workspaces for our volunteer builders and decorators.
Donations to AMTC are generally NOT directed towards shows (exception being JAM productions), but are used to grow the assets and hence the quality of our productions.
